best $15 purchase ever...makes the water more fun for us both June 13, 2010 Courtney A. Horner (Greenville, SC) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
i purchased this product for my 23-month-old daughter last week. she's a little under the weight requirement of 30 pounds (she weighs 22 pounds), and it still fits her nicely with the belt on its smallest setting. she loves swimming in the puddle jumper. she didn't ask to take it off once while we were at the pool for our first wear, and she had it on for two hours. it increased her confidence tremendously in the water and made the pool experience so much more relaxing for me. no more tired arms and wrists from holding her afloat.
she didn't ever drift face-first in the water wearing the puddle jumper. i was surprised at how well it held her upright. she even floats on her back with glee.
the puddle jumper also dried quickly and was so much less bulky than many swimming aids i've seen for her age group.
best $15 i have ever spent for summertime fun!
best floaty ever May 17, 2010 H. Glenn 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This has totally given my son confidence in the water. He started using it around 18 months and now he's 22 months old and can swim all over the pool on his own with it. He even jumps in from the side of the pool, makes a big splash and floats back up. He loves it and is much more confident in the water now. And I don't have to lug a 35 lb toddler through the water. He's also learned to keep his head up, as this floaty keeps his chest and head afloat, unlike other arm floaties or suits I've seen.
Best of it's kind! June 5, 2010 Mrs. Suzanne M. Cisneros (Helena, AL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have bought other vests and floatees and this is by far the best product out there. I am much more at ease at the pool now knowing that my 2 and 4-year old are wearing these. Other vests allow a child to go face first in the water if not being held by an adult. This one has no material in the back, except the clip, which makes the child bob with his face out of the water. My 2-year-old girl is confident enough in this to float on her own. It is the best. They come in all sorts of different colors. I would never buy another type of floatee ever again, and would definitely consider buying this one as gifts for friends and family. I love this product! It is easily worth the double the money for the safety it provides.
Best vest ever! May 21, 2010 mama_lia (Columbia, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've tried LOTS of floats for my two boys and this one is outstanding! My 18 month old can jump in the water, turn, swim, play and move freely while wearing it in and out of the water. He can swim totally unassisted (but obviously not unsupervised.) It is great for little ones who aren't quite ready to learn how to swim but still want to play in the water. With life jackets and swim trainers my kids bobbed up and down and couldn't control themselves. This provides great flotation, control and range of motion.

Great Floatation device. I bought this for my almost 3 year old. He has always been comfortable in the water and sometimes I worry he is too comfortable. I bought him this floatation device and we tried it last week and he loves it. I thought he would cling to me but he let go right away and was splasing around on his own. i love the support the middle bar adds.
