I've only had this product for several days, but it has been good so far for my P90x/30 day shred workouts. The one thing I found annoying about the product description is that they didn't have the weights that the bands equaled, so I put them here:
These bands are perfect for toning, although if you are into muscle building, I wouldn't recommend this product, and would suggest purchasing dumbbells instead.
Also, customer service was extremely good. I couldn't find the door anchor at first since it was in the package with the green band (which I didn't use because I use the blue/black bands), but customer service replied to me within the hour with a concerned and courteous attitude.

I am an ex-college athlete who still plays a lot of sports and works out regularly. P90x is something I'm giving a shot, more out of intrigue than need. Although I would prefer (and plan on buying) dumbells, I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of resistance bands. This is a first for me, so I had no idea what to expect. I like the way each band has it's own handle, which seems to be very comfortable and durable. On a couple exercises, the nylon straps rub and irritated my forearm, but that's going to happen with anything you use. If you are a gym rat, you might find the bands (all of them, not just this brand) to be too light. For example, I usually use dumbells in the 50-120 lb. range depending on what kind of lifting I'm doing. So, for some P90x exercises, a 20-25 lb. band is not going to be enough. However, I definitely recommend these bands to women and any one who is new to P90x or working out.
The most impressive part of my purchase was the service. My kit was sent missing one of the bands. A service rep replied to my email within 2 hours with sincere, focused concern. The missing band was sent the next morning and on my doorstep two days later. Great service and great product. Thanks!
PS. To Amazon... If you are going to edit my review, PLEASE at least have someone who speaks English do it. The last time I wrote a review, someone paraphrased it - who obviously does not speak English or never completed high school. Amazing that a company as large as Amazon can't hire English speaking employees. Stooopid.

I purchased these bands to complete my home gym. They arrived quickly and were just what I wanted. Each band has their own handles which is perfect for changing routines quickly as opposed to the bands you have to attach/detach to the handle. The bands appear to be really strong and I have had no problems using them. I would recommend them to complete any home gym or to use with workout videos which require resistance training.

I am a total novice in the exercise department and have never used resistance bands. I just joined a workout challenge and wanted to get a nice set. I spent about an hour on Amazon and other sports gear sites reading reviews and had it narrowed down between this set and one other that only contained three bands. Eventually I settled on this one because it seemed like a better deal. One thing I liked was NO negative reviews saying these bands snap. You would be surprised how common that seems to be, and it sounded dangerous to me!
These bands arrived really quickly, in about 2 days, even shipping from a 3rd party. The box contained all 5 bands, packaged with their own padded handles, the door piece, and printed instructions. My only gripe is that the instructions and description give no indication of how to use the door piece. I assume you close it in the door and then loop the band through, but could be wrong?
I think it is important to point out also that the "additional user pics" for this product are NOT the bands you will receive. The bands in the photo have metal clasps that hook to padded handles. The bands I received are individual bands that come secured solely to THEIR handle and there is no way to remove them or add more than one band to the handle. This works for me, but thought I would clarify for users who might be confused by that photo.
The bands are made nicely. The rubber looks to be of good quality and even though I've only worked out with them a few times, they show no signs of wear or tear, discoloration, or marks. The handles are nicely crafted with padded parts for your grip and strong vinyl straps. There is a metal rivet to secure to the band, which looks as if it would never come loose, even if you wanted it to.
I'm glad I settled on these. First, the price is a killer deal. ~$30 for 5 bands is better than I've seen anywhere else. Also, it's a nice variety from the low to high to break up workouts. Last, I'm glad the quality seems secure. Like I said - I was actually getting scared with the numerous snapping and welt stories I was reading about bands made with plastic pieces and frayed after only one use. These don't seem like "made in China" crap.

I ordered the bands for use with my P90X workouts. They arrived within a week and were in good shape. The only thing I can think would have been useful, would be to add a sheet explaining which band was which resistance (although it's kind of easy to tell by the thickness...). I started out with yellow thinking it was the lightest, but when I picked up green I realized it was the lightest (I think! :P). Overall, this is a great product!
